Exciting News Our Beloved Winnie is Expecting a Litter from Royal Just in Time for Easter

We are thrilled to share wonderful news with potential new families; Winnie, our cherished GChB Rosell Divine Acres Peace, Love, and Joy, is confirmed pregnant. The proud sire is Royal, GChG Regent Landmark's Groogrux King.

Ultrasound is a reliable method to detect pregnancy early and assess the health of the developing puppies, the ultrasound showed promising signs that she is carrying a healthy litter.

What to Expect Next: X-ray and Puppy Count

On March 31st, we will perform an X-ray to confirm the number of puppies Winnie is carrying, knowing the exact count helps us monitor the labor and births closely and be ready to assist if necessary.

The litter is due between April 5th and April 7th, making these puppies a special Easter gift. This timing adds a layer of excitement for everyone involved, as welcoming new life during a season of renewal feels especially meaningful.

Preparing for the Arrival of the Puppies

I have begun to prep the family room as Winnie's whelping area, this room is central to the life in our house and the room she is used to being in most of the time. The family room and kitchen are attached so that allows us to keep one eye on Mama and babies all of the time. Since our kids are all grown up and out of the house, it will only be my husband Joe and I so our house is generally calm and quiet. Once I have it all ready I will post pictures for you all to see.

Winnie’s diet will be adjusted to provide extra nutrition, supporting her energy needs and the growth of the puppies. We will also monitor her health closely, watching for any signs of distress or complications.
